City Adds New RGB Christmas Tree To Downtown Decor This Holiday Season

Each year the City of Madisonville's Parks and Recreation department goes above and beyond to decorate the City for the holiday season.  The decorations at Memorial Park in the downtown area have provided a Christmas photo backdrop for Madisonville residents for the past couple of years.  Kim Harrill and her team work very hard each year hanging lights and installing new features to keep the city looking festive.  This year, the City is proud to announce their latest, and most impressive, attraction yet, a programmable RGB Tree!  The tree, made possible through a collaboration between the City's Parks & Recreation Department and the Downtown Madisonville Alliance, boasts 25 different effects which can be seen each night after sundown at Madisonville City Hall.  It has the capability to expand up to over 20' tall, and be programmed to do just about anything.  Since it was purchased this year so close to the holiday season, programming will have to wait until next year.
